‘V App’ WINNER, How could a Guinness World Record challenge be funny…SeungSeungTV needs to be a regular show

of ‘SeungSeungTV’ has been aired on Naver V app. The topic of the episode was
‘Challenge, SeungSeung Guinness’.
The first Guinness challenge was
‘quickly snapping bananas.’ The world record is snapping 70 bananas in one
minute and Kang Seungyoon was the first to compete. Seungyoon unhesitatingly
snapped away bananas and Seunghoon was dumbfounded at the unexpectedly fast
speed. Lee Seunghoon said “we didn’t know he was going to do so well and only prepare
around 30 bananas.” Kang Seungyoon snapped 23 bananas in 30 seconds and because
there were barely 20 bananas left, Kim Jinwoo could not participate in the
challenge, leaving Kang Seungyoon with a win.
The second challenge was
marshmallow chubby bunny (stuffing marshmallows in one’s mouth). Kim Jinwoo had
stuffed 14 marshmallows when he spat them out immediately after saying, “I
can’t breathe” and Kang Seungyoon won the challenge with 20 marshmallows.
Lee Seunghoon, said “there is
something that cannot be left out. And that is 3-point betting” announced that
the winner of the last challenge will win the entire game. The third challenge
was ‘typing with one’s nose.’ The key of the challenge is how accurately one
can type the given sentence.
The given sentence was ‘We support
you(WINNER) on stage’ (*It is the sentence used on the slogan WWIC in Seoul
which includes a word play. The pronunciation of the Korean sentence is
[Moodaewinerheereuluengwonhae] where the syllables of the words ‘on’(wi) and
‘you’(nerhee) side by side create the same pronunciation as ‘winner’). Kim
Jinwoo typed the sentence with his nose in 44 seconds by typing ‘We wait you on
stage’ but led people to laugh. Lee Seunghoon pointed out the type-o, saying,
“although we had clearly said we support we on stage, he created himself a
yearning sentence.”
Later, Kang Seungyoon also
competed in the challenge and typed incomprehensible words, giving a good
laugh. Lee Seunghoon commented on it, “(SY) has given out a consonants-quiz. It
seems like a hidden message for the fans. We will send some bananas to fans to
can decipher the code and figure out what the quiz was.”
The winner of the entire show was Kim
Jinwoo who gained 3 points by winning the last challenge. Regarding the result,
Kang Seungyoon expressed that it is “unfair”, and to this, Jinwoo in the end
agreed to take the penalty task as well. The penalty task was to put stocking
over one’s face. Kang Seungyoon and Kim Jinwoo each wore a stocking from a pair
of stockings over their head to execute the penalty task.
